Terms and conditions
Article 1 - Rates
Room rates are separate from the tourist tax, which may be adjusted by the municipality without prior notice.
Article 2 - Length of Stay
Bookings are made for the duration specified at the time of reservation. Any request to extend your stay will be considered based on availability.
Article 3 - Deposit
A deposit of 20% by bank transfer is required to confirm your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid upon arrival, either by instant bank transfer or in cash.
Article 4 - Cancellation by the Guest
If cancellation occurs less than 30 days before arrival, the deposit will not be refunded.
If you reduce your stay once arrived, no refund will be issued for unused nights.
Article 5 - Cancellation by Mas du Cigalin
In the event of cancellation by Mas du Cigalin, any amounts paid will be fully refunded. No further compensation will be provided.
Article 6 - Security Deposit and Damages
No security deposit is required for guest room stays.
For Property (“property”) rentals, a security deposit of €1,000 (by check or cash) is required, but not cashed and returned at the end of your stay.
If damages or breakages occur, compensation will be agreed upon amicably.
Guests are encouraged to have insurance covering their stay if their personal liability insurance is insufficient.
Article 7 - Guest’s Responsibility
Guests are expected to use the accommodation responsibly and maintain the property in good condition. The guest is liable for any damage caused and must compensate Mas du Cigalin for any loss.
Guests agree to notify Mas du Cigalin promptly of any problem, breakdown, or damage.
Guests are responsible for any damages, regardless of whether they have insurance.
Article 8 - Arrival / Departure
Check-in is between 3:30 pm and 7:00 pm. A later arrival may be arranged if available.
Check-out is before 11:00 am.
Article 9 - Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house. Ashtrays are provided in designated outdoor areas.
Article 10 - Pets
Pets are not allowed inside the house. Failure to comply may result in additional cleaning fees or cancellation of your stay at the guest’s expense.
Article 11 - Swimming Pool
The pool is generally open from May to September, but dates may vary depending on the weather.
Use of the pool is at your own risk.
Mas du Cigalin cannot be held responsible for any accidents related to pool usage.
Article 12 - Privacy Notice
All information shared with Mas du Cigalin will be treated as confidential and never shared with third parties.
In compliance with French data protection laws, you have the right to access, correct, and object to your personal information.
